Large container + Top

This massive container + top measures 185 mm in height, dwarfing its predecessor, ArcBox8 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1912996). Its seven sides are distinguished by a sophisticated compound curve that replaces the circular arc of the original design. The top fits securely into place due to a cleverly designed ridge and groove system on the bottom/top interface. Achieving a layer height of 0.200mm for both components, the top printed in approximately eight hours, while the bottom required a staggering thirty-three and a half hours. The bottom surface features an innovative waffle design that not only conserves filament but also facilitates effortless removal from the print bed and prevents warping. One row of waffle shapes is noticeably absent, a consequence of a quirk in the design software I utilize (Grasshopper + Rhino), which I ultimately abandoned due to its persistence. The top was printed without supports, resulting in an exceptional finish that surpasses ArcBox8's appearance in every way. A close-up inspection reveals the benefits of increasing the top's height, ensuring a substantial overlap between layers and yielding a superior outcome.
