Large container + Top

Large container + Top

It boasts seven facets, utilizing a compound curve instead of a circular arc for its side shape. The top fits snugly due to a matching ridge and groove on the bottom/top. Printing with a 0.200mm layer height for both components resulted in a top that took approximately eight hours to print, while the bottom required 33.5 hours. The bottom surface features a waffle design that conserves filament, facilitates easier removal from the print bed, and helps prevent warping. Note, however, one missing row of waffle shapes, caused by a quirk in the design software I employ (Grasshopper + Rhino), which I ultimately abandoned trying to circumvent. The top was printed without supports, showcasing an improved outcome compared to ArcBox8. The closeup highlights this improvement, which I attribute to increasing the height of the top, resulting in greater overlap between layers.
