This is my latest CNC router design, a significant upgrade in scale - boasting a cutting area of approximately 750mm x 1500mm. I engineered this model using Fusion360 software, incorporating fully adjustable x, y, and z axes for enhanced versatility. You can access the complete Fusion360 file archive to examine and modify it further. The machine is currently being assembled, utilizing primarily Misumi aluminum extrusions measuring 80x80 in size, which were precision-milled by the manufacturer on both sides. The gantry is composed of multiple parts carefully screwed and glued together for optimal rigidity. High-quality components such as Hiwin rails and blocks, TBI ballscrews, and Nema 23 closed-loop steppers are seamlessly integrated into the design. Notably, some components from the previous generation have been repurposed or modified, including the Z-axis, which has undergone slight adjustments. Feel free to utilize, build upon, and modify this project with proper attribution and credits to the original creator.
