The design was born from the innovative concept of cgongora69's thing on Thingiverse, which can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:343093. I discovered that the original segments were too compact for handling power cables and keeping them organized around my computer desk. In response, I created a new design with several key considerations. I introduced a twist to the unit, which prevents cables from sagging out when arranged in an arch shape. To enhance functionality, I increased the size of the design. Additionally, I incorporated a T-like splitter to facilitate more efficient cable management. Furthermore, I added an adapter that can be scaled up to standard size, allowing for greater versatility. To cater to diverse needs, I also created a longer version of the connector. This design has evolved into a family of connectors, offering users various options to suit their specific requirements. Update 2: If you prefer to scale the design back to its original size, I recommend using a scaling factor of 60%. You can also use the files listed with _M as an alternative. Two new additions include sd_cable_organizer_M_to_L.stl and sd_cable_organizer_M_split_2M.stl.
