Large Articulated Desk Lamp LED Cob

I enjoyed printing Marius Hornberger's "Flexible Segmented Hose 75mm" from YouTube. The engineer, 3D printer, and woodworker created this design that I could modify into a desk lamp. However, I didn't need a vacuum hose but needed a nice desk light instead. If you want to print a desk lamp, download the 75mm hose segment from Marius on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3283786/files. You can then print as many segments as you want and modify them to fit your needs. My original idea was to use Marius's design for the base and lampshade but I decided to create a new design that clicks into place instead. If you prefer a firmer connection, use some super glue. The LED uses two cob lights that slide into a track for ventilation. Insert a piece of filament into the channel and secure it with glue to lock the cob lights in place. To reduce heat and amperage draw, add a current limiting resistor. I used a 3-ohm resistor (4.5 ohms, 50 watts) since I had it on hand. Two cobs are wired in series, producing a cool and bright light with minimal heat dissipation. Cob Lights 1000LM 10W COB LED Strip Light High Power Lamp Chip Warm/Cool White 12V-24V S cost $1.88 each: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1000LM-10W-COB-LED-Strip-Light-High-Power-Lamp-Chip-Warm-Cool-White-12V-24V-S/182897259841. Big Clive created a video about the cob light used, discussing resistor sizing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F-WUcJlgko. The lamp is made from Nova PLA while the base is constructed from Ziro TPU. To ensure stability, add weight to the base using rocks, coins, or any available objects. Finally, wire the lamp according to your preferences.
