You'll need a glass cover for the top, and I used plexiglass to create mine. The ant farm has two test tube openings that are 20mm in diameter. There's a spot for adding water, but you'll need cotton balls to fill the water chamber completely. I'm waiting on my queen's workers before testing with live ants - this setup is perfect for large species like Camponotus Pennsylvanicus.
