Large ant enclosure
thingiverse
Here is my main ant enclosure that I designed. No supports were needed at all for this print. Choose your layer height and infill as you see fit. For the glass top, I used a standard 5"x7" photo frame that can be found at BigW or any other shop. These frames are widely available. The black lining is actually a door and window weather strip, which is approximately 9mm wide from my memory. You can purchase these strips at Bunnings or any other hardware store. They help create a tight seal between the glass and the 3D printed part. The glass catch features a quick release design that securely holds the glass in place. Simply press the glass down and slide the latch over, making it incredibly easy to use.
