Large Adjustable Monitor Shelf
prusaprinters
I needed a larger monitor shelf to fit the LEGO Technic Perseverance Rover I got for Christmas, which is pretty large and fairly heavy. I liked the design of GiskardReventlov's “Adjustable Monitor shelf”, but it wasn't deep enough for my needs. In order to support the additional weight and depth I had to increase the overall thickness of the shelf.I printed two shelves and placed them side by side to support the rover. I did have to add a small piece of 2-sided 3M tape just below where the support arm makes contact with the monitor so the weight of items on the shelf didn't cause the shelf to drop a bit (pic included). I could probably sturdy up the support arm a bit and adjust the length to where that's not needed, but for now it's working fine.In the pics I have a few strips of black electrical tape to keep the rover from slipping when bumped since I have it angled slightly higher in the back.Filament: Sunlu PLA+ Layer Height: 0.2mmSupports: NoneInfill: 20% Cubic (seems sturdy enough)
