Large 3M 6300 face Mask air outtake valve filter

This protective shield safeguards others while wearing a 3M mask. It should work with similar versions of other 3M masks as well. The cover directs outgoing air downwards instead of straight forward, providing additional protection. The kit includes a template for cutting filters to the right size. Two versions of the clip-on filter are available: one with a 2mm gap and another with a 0.5mm gap, depending on the type of filter used. The 2mm gap is designed for cloth cut from clean fabric, which should be about 4-5mm uncompressed and 2mm compressed. However, fabrics can vary, so it's essential to test before use. The 0.5mm gap is intended for cut-up filters, such as those made from 3M house air filters. By carefully removing the hot glue, you can create dense filters that are even more effective than disposable masks. I've found that these filters require a larger valve and am working on designing a new mount to accommodate them. The clip should snap into place easily when attaching or detaching it from the mask, but be sure to test this before use. It's also a good idea to print extra clips in case they break. After repeated testing, I've found that the clips remain durable and functional.
