<p>Made a medal for my brother as part of his action figure collection.</p> <p>Punisher model comes from somewhere on the internet as part of another design which I cut up in Fusion 360.<br/> The logo itself was re-meshed and resized, decreased faces and leveled out.<br/> The medal part i then model in F360, including indents for 3 x 6mm x 3mm neodymium magnets and 4x finger grab spots to remove the medal from a surface once attached.<br/> I super glued (ca glue) the magnets in place</p> <p>Obviously any metal surface can be used for the display or alternatively to wall mount, while model is on its face (magnets up), take a piece of paper and index the magnet locations, transfer the marks to a wall and drill three screws that match the points, check screws are magnetic before hand</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>When color change occurs, work as quickly as possible but do not rush.</p> <p>Before printing make sure the white (or secondary color) is ready to be loaded<br/> Check you have a pair of long nose pliers ready<br/> The color change happens at around the 4H mark at layer 37 (7.4 mm)<br/> When new color inserted, purge will happen that is easy to remove, printer waits for your confirmation<br/> Use the pliers to also remove the filament extruded due to heat sink melt quickly before nozzle touches down to start the next layer<br/> The print is 15cm (5.9in) in diameter and 11.2mm (0.44in or 7/16) high<br/> Took 5h24m to complete</p> <p>Nozzle temp was set to 225C (437F) for layer 1 and 215C (419F) there after<br/> Bed temp was set to 65C (149F) for layer 1 and 60C (140F) thereafter<br/> Layer height 0.2 with single perimeter<br/> Used about 82g of total filament (forgot to weigh before finishing with magnets)</p>
