Laputa Robot

I haven't yet assembled the printout and the feet seem rather awkward-looking. Upon further inspection, they appear to be slightly shorter than the hands, making it unlikely for the robot to stand once everything is connected. I've tried stretching out the feet a bit to compensate, but they still end up as clumsy square shapes. Could anyone help me figure out how to correct this?
