<p>I have been buying these really cheap laptop webcam modules off of Ali that you can wire to USB, or even come pre-wired and I've seen people using them as security-safety cameras, like DIY Perks:</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CouxmNqxO4A"></oembed></figure><p>The other day I spotted <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4573004">“Laptop Webcam Case and Corner Mount” </a>from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/matmac945">matmac945</a> and decided to remix it to do a decent case for the one I was using for meetings. I made the holes tinier to use M3 screws and added pockets for captive nuts. I also substituted the corner mount for a clip custom made for my screen. I am adding the sources so you can edit the clip or move the hole of the lens to adapt to your model.</p><p>Finally, I glued a little cover on so I can block the view. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2814505</p>
