I really liked @JensJensen_449115 design and wanted to make a slight modification for my use case.I added an extension on the backside of the stand to accommodate the larger XPS 17 I use.  The original design was for a MacBook Pro 14" and my XPS 17 is larger and would cause the whole stand to rock backwards when the LCD was opened to an appropriate angle.  I also increased the lip by 1mm to better accommodate the XPS.
