Laptop stand and cooler
thingiverse
I built this laptop cooler to accommodate two 120mm static pressure fans to cool a Gigabyte Aero 15x. The dimensions and fan placement are engineered to seal against an Aero 15x, allowing forced air for cooling. I used foam weatherstripping around the fans to achieve a better seal and prevent wasted air pressure. I envision it working with most laptops, but the fans might not be optimally positioned. Attached are files to laser-cut and, in my case, cut on a K40 laser. Therefore, the larger files are split and will need to be glued together in two layers. I used 5mm plywood for the build, however most 5mm materials should work. This project is not suited for 3D printing unless you want to use an excessive amount of support material.
