Laptop stand - 100mm VESA mount or freestanding
thingiverse
A laptop stand I designed for mounting to a 100mm VESA mount. If mounting to a VESA, print two stands and one brace. You will need x4 M4 thread inserts for the VESA mount holes. Upturned hooks on the stand allow the laptop to be oriented near-vertically without it slipping out, but do ensure that it does not lean too far forward. If using freestanding, print the "support wo VESA" STL. No hardware needed in this configuration. Image shown is the freestanding version. I have been using the VESA mount version with a heavy 17" laptop for 2+ years. -Minimal supports needed for the VESA holes on the stand; you would probably be fine without supports at all. -If you have no intention to mount it to a VESA ever, you can probably get away with just two stands without the brace and support, but printing the braces will keep the assembly neat. Thank you for looking, feedback is always appreciated!
