I repositioned the model, shaved off the rounded corners, and locked it into place at 20mm wide. It's working fairly well for my ThinkPad X1 Carbon so far. However, the gap in the middle causes it to flex slightly. I'm not convinced it would support a heavy desktop-replacement style laptop.\r\n\r\nThis design was crafted using Tinkercad.
