Laptop Phone Mount v1
thingiverse
After 3 different attempts at mounting my phone (Galaxy Fold3) to my laptop lid to use as a second screen, I realized that 3d prints and popcicle sticks make for a pretty fine mount. 2 popcicle sticks can be cut to about 2 inches and the 3d prints can either be glued or double sided taped onto both the phone and laptop screen (preferably the case of the phone rather than the phone back itself). It makes for an impressively solid mount, I use my phone and laptop together with Superdisplay for a mobile multi-monitor setup. Right now the mount is rather bulky, tolerances could use some work, and the small popcicle sticks have to be stored seperately which is rather inconvenient. If v1 is useful enough to me maybe I'll address these problems in v2.
