Laptop vesa mount adapters for attaching a laptop to a monitor arm are available in multiple versions. One is specifically designed for the 2013 retina macbook pro, while others cater to thinner and thicker laptops with base thicknesses of about 12mm or less and 15mm or less respectively. I've only printed and used the first version. It works seamlessly with both an Ergotron LX Monitor Arm and a North Bayou Monitor Arm. The Ergotron arm offers a wider range of motion and positions, whereas the North Bayou arm is more budget-friendly. To ensure smooth operation, the Vesa screw locations are strategically placed to avoid interfering with the movement of the Ergotron arm.
