I designed some custom 'feet' for my Toshiba laptop to elevate it and improve airflow after experiencing overheating issues. By fitting these feet into the existing screw holes at the bottom of the laptop, I was able to raise the device slightly when placed on a table, thereby enhancing ventilation and reducing heat buildup.
