Have you ever tried to attach a laptop bag to your bike? Either you're unsure if your laptop will withstand it or even drop off, or you decide to carry it on your shoulder while cycling, which isn't much fun. Here's the solution: most laptop bags have this strap that lets you tie it to a suitcase or a trolley when traveling, especially flying. If you have this strap, simply print these two clips and attach them to your bike. Hang them from your bag, and that's it. Tested with a very heavy backpack and big holes in the road. As long as you don't hit the biggest potholes on the road, these clips will stay firmly in place.
