Lantern
pinshape
Summary Lantern with LED tea light inside, powered by easily accessible batteries underneath. The tea light itself measures 37 mm in diameter and 45 mm high. For the glass panels, I would have ideally used clear or natural PLA, but unfortunately ran out of stock, so I opted for photochromatic material that changes to a light blue hue in sunlight, yet still allows the tea light's glow to shine through. A total of six frames were printed, along with glass and pins. Supports were only applied to the top section during printing. The finished lantern stands at 190 mm high and 15 mm in diameter, while the tea light requires careful gluing before the top panel is securely attached. Notably, no infill was used on the glass panels. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 10%
