All logos Colors[edit] The emotional spectrum is divided into seven colors of the rainbow, each corresponding to an emotion: rage (red), greed (orange), fear (yellow), willpower (green), hope (blue), compassion (indigo), and love (violet). The absence of color (black) represents death, while the combination of all colors (white) symbolizes life. The two emotions at opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, rage and love, have a significant impact on their users, while willpower, situated at the center, can be used to control and overcome one's emotions. Recently, it was discovered that a ring was created to allow its user to harness any color of the emotional spectrum, known as the Phantom Ring. Groups representing different points on the emotional spectrum are: Black Lantern Corps: An army of undead beings formed by the former Guardian Scar and led by Lord Nekron, the Black Lanterns are resurrected individuals fueled by death. Members of this corps are chosen for their emotional connection to living people and rise to elicit emotions from those who remain alive. The power ring worn by its users enables them to create objects made of black light, mimicking powers they had while still alive, and read the emotions of living beings as colors on the emotional spectrum. Red Lantern Corps: A group of warriors formed and led by Atrocitus, the Red Lanterns tap into their rage to generate constructs made of red light with their power rings. During induction, a member's blood is replaced with liquid fire; they can expel this substance from their body at will, causing burns. Their home planet is Ysmault. Agent Orange: Former Thieves Guild member Larfleeze draws on his greed to create constructs made of orange light with his power ring. This Lantern is considered evil and an enemy of the good lanterns. Sinestro Corps: A group of terrorists formed and led by former Green Lantern Thaal Sinestro, the Sinestro Lanterns tap into their fear to generate constructs made of yellow light with their power rings. These corps are evil and serve as enemies of the Green Lantern Corps. Green Lantern Corps: A group of peacekeepers formed by the Guardians of the Universe, the Green Lanterns draw on willpower to create constructs made of green light. Their home planet is Oa. Blue Lantern Corps: A faithful group formed by former Guardians Ganthet and Sayd and led by Saint Walker, the Blue Lanterns tap into their hope to generate constructs made of blue light with their power rings. A blue ring can recharge a depleted green ring and supercharge a full one. Blue Lanterns can also save Red Lanterns from their ring. Indigo Tribe: A group of nomads formed by deceased Green Lantern Abin Sur and led by Indigo-1, the Indigo Lanterns tap into compassion to teleport long distances and generate constructs made of indigo light with their power rings. They are good and help those in need. Star Sapphire Corps: A group of female warriors formed and led by the Zamarons, the Star Sapphires draw on love to create constructs made of violet light with their power rings. Although they were originally villains, they have changed for the better. Their home planet is Zamaron. White Lantern Corps: Formed by Kyle Rayner, the White Lanterns use life to create constructs made of white light. They possess reality-altering powers and are capable of defeating Nekron and the Black Lantern Corps. Phantom Lantern: Formed by Frank Laminski under the guidance of Volthoom, this ring allows its user to harness any color on the emotional spectrum, despite their ability to wield one of the Power Rings on its own.
