I crafted this lantern as a gift for my wife, with Plexiglass panels intended for the sides, though I opted out of using them in the end. My goal was also to eliminate unnecessary supports, which I find frustrating to remove later on. To ensure a smooth assembly, pegs were incorporated to align the top and bottom sections, although they are not strictly required.
