Langmuir Plasma Machine Torch Mount
thingiverse
Thanks to StarrCycles for the inspiration. I started with his and modified for more strength and support for larger machine torches. I also added recess in the back for a couple of screws on the Z axis that stick out. it helps with clocking on the mount. Print using ASA or ABS (given the environment it's used in). 30 count wall for strength around the threaded holes and 15% infil is more than enough. Holes are 1/4" - 20. They need to be socket cap screws, minimum 2" long. This is my V3.2. Working on V4.0 to cut weight and since ASA is stupid strong, it should be able to utilize the factory strap clamp to make height adjustable. This is a 7 hour print on a Bambu Lab printer on standard speed. May the 3D printer gods help those with industry standard print speed for the 20+ hours it will take. I uploaded both .stl and .step files Message me if you need a larger or smaller dia. for the torch and I will try to accommodate Tips are appreciated, start with Starrcycles since it was his design that evolved into this. .
