The goal for our concluding project was to partner with a faculty or staff member in order to conceptualize and fabricate a three-dimensional object that could serve as an advocate for a subject of relevance. Given my steadfast commitment to chemistry research, I elected to collaborate with The Edwards Lab in order to create a straightforward device that would prove valuable for research conducted within their facility. The device design underwent numerous refinements through iterative design prototypes before the final product was solidified. Initially, the plan called for a far more intricate design than what ultimately came to fruition. However, it became apparent that an uncomplicated design could still be highly effective in fulfilling its purpose and thus a simpler approach was adopted.
