Landscape Light Capper
thingiverse
Most dollar store lights come with a silver band or some tacky design on them. To make mine match other objects outside, I needed to be able to put a cap on it. This cap is designed for 56.2mm diameter x 29mm high landscape lights with their original silver caps still in place. On my first try, I removed the silver cap and printed one a bit smaller to fit around it. However, putting it right over the silver cap made its color stand out more during the day. You can easily resize this design to fit your specific light size. I've uploaded a picture of mine printed in PETG Magenta to match my owl head post caps that are already on my deck. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Whatever Infill: None Notes: I highly recommend using PETG, but this design will likely outlast the lights themselves, no matter what material you use.
