Landrover Discovery 3 (and RR Sport) Sat Nav screen cover and Garmin Nuvi GPS Mount

I designed a custom mount for Garmin Nuvi GPS models that perfectly covers the Landrover Discovery screen, incorporating a ball mount to click onto my trusty Nuvi. Since my 2005 Discovery's built-in sat nav is subpar, I created this innovative solution. The mounting plate fits snugly against the car's LCD, sitting flush with its dimensions. A raised lip on the upper recess secures the plate in place and prevents it from slipping forward. To keep everything stable, I added a thin strip of self-adhesive foam at the top of the raised lip, ensuring a tight fit and minimizing vibrations. This clever design allows me to easily switch between using my Nuvi GPS and accessing the 4x4 info on the LR display – simply remove the mount in seconds! When printing this custom mount, keep in mind that you'll need to use support material due to the raised lip feature.
