Landing Skids (Kufen) for PAF Opus

This set comprises four skids: The primary skid situated beneath the front fuselage, the rear fuselage skid and two skids positioned under the wings. I strongly advise printing the skids with at least 50% infill and 1.2mm wall thickness. With these settings, the primary skid can withstand 4-6 landings on a concrete strip. To make it durable enough to last indefinitely, simply apply one layer of glass fiber to the main skid and attach a small metal plate underneath (refer to images). Using this setup, I have completed over 20 landings without sustaining significant damage. The other three skids will endure long enough for you to print new ones when they become worn out. To prevent scratching the airplane surface, apply a layer of tape to the contact surfaces of the skids. This photo illustrates the skids and demonstrates a landing on a concrete strip without any harm to the aircraft.
