Landing gear for Phoenix gliders

Landing gear for Phoenix gliders

pinshape

This is landing gear designed for Phoenix 2000 and Evolution gliders. Flying mainly on flat fields without grass, I grew tired of gravel landings and decided to install a landing gear system. The design was created using 3D modeling software and printed with 35mm foam wheels in mind. The print process was done in two halves that were then glued together using CA glue. Once assembled, the landing gear is secured to the hull with Gorilla glue. To attach it properly, simply place it along the hull's curve just under the wing's leading edge. Note: Print settings for this design include a CR-10S printer with no rafts and supports used. The resolution is set at 0.2mm and infill density is 15%.
