This is a Landing Gear Design for an Action Cam in GoPro Style Under the Quad. To ensure maximum ground clearance, I specifically designed it for use with a fixed and dampened gimbal. However, if you are using an active gimbal, you will need to resize it accordingly. The gear's main components include four solid-printed angles and legs, two landing skids printed with 20% infill, and one traverse piece also printed with 20% infill. After printing, the drill-holes in the angles are made, allowing for secure fixation via M3 screws. The landing skids utilize M3 nylon screws, while cable ties secure the traverse piece. Printer Settings: - Printer: BQ Hephestos Prusa i3 - Rafts: Doesn't Matter - Supports: No - Resolution: 0.2 mm - Infill: 20% / 100% - Notes: PLA, 1.75 mm, 0.4 mm nozzle, 210 °C, 40 mm/s Design Process: I designed and meshed the gear using FreeCAD 0.15 before exporting it as an STL file. The slicing was done with Cura 15.04.
