I scaled m-bergman's 1:200 LCM 3 design up to 1:16 and widened it to fit a 1:16 Tiger I model. I also added an under part to the hull, as well as space for rudder and propeller. However, I still need to create engine and servo mounts. The parts are designed to fit into beds measuring 200 x 200 x 150mm. This massive model measures nearly 94cm long and 36cm wide. On December 31st, I added the propellers (Prop L and Prop R). On January 6th, I added five new parts for the motor and transmission. Photos LCM3 6 and LCM3 7 show how to assemble these components together. For this project, I recommend using motors like the Igarashi SP3657-50 or similar models. The shaft diameter is 4mm, and the brass tube has an inner diameter of 7mm and an outer diameter of 8mm, requiring approximately 180mm of tubing. Additionally, I added rudder (print 2) and a servo mount for the HobbyKing HK15139 servo. This requires a 4mmØ rudder axis and two 3mmØ x 25mm long axes to pass through the rudder axis and the rudder itself. On January 10th, I added an Oerlikon 20mm AA-gun made from a simplified model based on one found on Grabcad due to printing limitations. Finally, on January 13th, I uploaded version 2 of the two gearwhells, correcting the hole diameter issue in version 1.
