Land Rover Series brake steady post bush, part number 607808 is merely a really annoying 5/16" bolt with a flat head screw top. It's also the best part of 15GBP. It's a non-structural part that just pushes the brake shoes into alignment. It can be replaced with a regular 1" long 5/16" bolt, a locking nut against the backplate, and this bush. Use a swan neck spanner on the locknut, and adjust the bolt in and out with another spanner or socket.
