The headrest is notoriously difficult to remove, so I engineered a version that employs M3 screws and a reinforced crossbar for added stability. To ensure durability, I highly recommend using PETG as the primary material, allowing for maximum tolerance against temperature fluctuations. My own design has withstood nearly a year's worth of rigorous testing in Southern California's scorching summer climate, with no signs of warping or bending. For those looking to upgrade their LR3, there are two battery options available: standard and extended. I personally utilize the remote mic/speaker with an extension, granting anyone within reach access to the radio.
