Land Rover Discovery Rear Work Light Mount
thingiverse
Just a quick, crude design for a pair of work/off-road reverse lights on a Land Rover Discovery II. Wires are fed in through an existing hole at the top of the door and routed through a wire tube already present. I needed a way to attach the lights to the rear door without causing permanent damage - no drilling holes or gluing. To accomplish this, I removed a rubber plug from an existing hole in the top of the door to run the wires through. The mounts are held on by a hook and secured to the door using industrial-strength, low-profile self-adhesive Velcro to prevent them from sliding around. Printed in ABS, these will see how long they last. Ideally, I would create a better design, print at higher quality, and paint them. But for now, they're holding $7 lights from Amazon (Nilight 18W 4" Flood lights) - a 1/4-20 x 1/2" stainless bolt and nylock nut secure the light to the mount.
