Land Rover Defender LT230 oil seal seating tool

This is a simple tool designed to fit the oil seal on my Land Rover Defenders 4x4 differential transfer gearbox with precision. The proper Land Rover tool costs approximately £86, while this affordable 3D printed alternative is priced at about £1, depending on fill percentage and filament type. I created this tool using PET-G filament, printing at a temperature of 250C, with the bed set to 50C. The print speed was 50mm/sec, and I used a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm. To ensure strength, I chose a fill percentage of 50% and a shell thickness of 2mm. Although it's a simple tool, it works effectively, and I needed one urgently! Print Settings: Printer: Malyan M150 Rafts: None Supports: Not Necessary Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: PET-G filament was used at 250C, with the bed temperature set to 50C, a print speed of 50mm/sec, a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm, and layer thickness of 0.2mm.
