Land Rover Cruise Control
thingiverse
Designed for people with vintage Land Rovers like Defender, Perentie, County, Series 2, Series 3, and Series 3A. These classic vehicles come equipped with a hand throttle, literally a knob attached to a cable running to the foot pedal. In brand-new vehicles, this setup works smoothly, but in an old vehicle like mine that's 26 years old - the throttle tends to slip when hitting bumps. The army's trick was to wedge a small block of wood under it. This approach was effective, but not easy to remove quickly and offered no adjustability. This little design is straightforward and secured with just one 3mm screw. There have been several revisions to this design; I highly recommend trying the "rounded V3.stl". Please note that using this device will prevent engine revs from dropping when lifting your foot off the pedal. Source files are included for modding enthusiasts.
