Remix of spacetimeripples FJ40, scaled up to 1/10 and almost identical to tahustvedt's monster truck at thingiverse.com/thing:2299884. Converted it into a wellside version and lengthened it for better proportions. It took another 10-12% scaling to get close to the 1/10 scale size, but even at +10% it was still about 5mm narrower than I calculated it should be. I made some adjustments to make printing easier and minimized support requirements. Breaking it into four parts allowed me to fit my D4s without issues. New files uploaded on June 24, 2017, with a successful print using 1 layer and 8% fill at 0.2mm. There were a few dangly bits on the back of the windscreen pillars and front grill, but they cleaned up nicely. To achieve better results, I printed the rollbar parts flat with rafts and support to get them rounder. The next steps might involve: Joining the cab to the wellside for a single piece design Adding holes for the rollbar installation Sorting out some window issues The headlights were modified to face outward using their smooth bottom side, and I printed mine in clear ABS. A new tailgate was added with separate taillights for clearer printing. On November 10, 2017, I finally created windows by gluing them into place with glue.
