Lloyd Asplund and the Military Engineering Corps create a new experimental Knightmare Frame called Lancelot, named after the famous Knight of the Round Table. This innovative Knight is the first seventh generation model to see field service. The Lancelot far surpasses most other models due to the abundance of Sakuradite used in its construction, as well as in the Core Luminous, Yggdrasil Drive. Although still in development, the Lancelot is currently missing an ejection seat for pilots like Suzaku Kururugi.
