My first attempt at designing a lampshade turned out to be a disappointment when it failed to print. I was still a novice back then, and the rods used were akin to springs that got broken by the hot end of my Wanhao Duplicator i3. However, maybe one day I'll try again or perhaps you will get lucky and have better success. Print Settings Printer: My printer is a reliable Wanhao Duplicator i3. Rafts: A raft is not a crucial element in this design. Supports: A support for my design was not needed. Resolution: I decided to go with the default 0.2 resolution for my print. Infill: To add strength and density to the model, I set the infill percentage at 30 or more. Notes: To ensure a clean and stable base, I applied a 5-10 line brim around it.
