The finished product is referred to as renderings. It was made for an architecture school project using a lasercut of 1ply cardboard with a laser template in the files. The hole for IKEA Hemma lamp cord, however, is too small and must be increased to 1.5". A recommended light source for the shade is a 400-600 lumen LED. The shade fits snugly onto an IKEA Hemma lamp cord as a hanging one. Gluing suggestions include using paper/fabric glue, which might leave strings and burn on contact with heat, so caution must be exercised. The best glue discovered is 3-in-1 by Beacon. Tacky glue runs and soaks in but works for joining the 2ply portion where it attaches to the lamp cord. Superglue is discouraged as it's bad stuff. The status of J.D. Weld and Gorilla glue (wood and regular) is unknown, while duck tape is effective but tacky. A disclaimer states that the design can be customized for personal use, but not sold or used for school purposes, and no liability will be taken for any fire caused by its usage, with common sense being advised.
