I'm excited to share with you how I created this unique lampshade, which could potentially make for an engaging educational project that brings light to a classroom. Let's take a closer look at my design process. The Generative Design Process First things first, I started by sketching out the profile of the lampshade. This was the foundation of the entire design. Once I had the initial shape down on paper, I took it to the next level by symmetrizing it. Symmetry is key in design, and I wanted to make sure my lampshade had a sense of balance and harmony. To take my design to the next level, I repeated the process multiple times, each time refining the shape and making adjustments as needed. This iterative approach allowed me to experiment with different shapes and forms until I arrived at a design that truly captured my vision. By taking this generative design approach, I was able to create a one-of-a-kind lampshade that is both visually striking and functional. The possibilities are endless when it comes to designing with symmetry, and I'm excited to see how others might interpret and build upon my design.
