Designers are pushing boundaries with variations of 3D printed lamps that emerge from a simple hexagonal grid and basic shape of a lamp shade. By combining both into one product, they're creating numerous variations through different approaches and modeling the shape. Each shade measures 15x15x20cm and is printed using Zortrax and Ultimaker printers with ABS material. Designers carefully consider the technology and printing process when designing these shades, striving to avoid support materials and minimize material usage. As a result, each structure requires only 60-100g of material and takes approximately 8 to 10 hours to print.
