I required a means to secure items onto a table (such as a webcam and LED lights), and came across this design. With some modifications, I successfully converted it to metric measurements and added an extra nut trap at the top of the clamp. Now it is compatible with M8 hardware. The provided scripts were helpful, and I appreciate the original design!
