I created this lamp using transparent orange filament, expecting it to emit more light than regular filament. And it does! The first photo shows the lamp with no internal light, and the second one shows the lamp in a dark closet with the light on. The lamp sits atop a standard 68mm/2.75" diameter LED puck light that is powered by 3 AAA batteries. I purchased three of these lights at Lowes for $9.98, batteries included.
