My goal was to craft a few of these lamps as thoughtful gifts for Christmas, but one thing bothered me - the arms were too visible when the lamp was turned on. To address this issue, I designed them to protrude less inside the lampshade and added a ring that encircles it all. This ingenious solution results in a more discreet shade support, which blends seamlessly into place when attached.
