Lamp shade circle square
thingiverse
I designed this lamp shade because I wanted to create a unique lighting fixture that could integrate an Arduino and ultrasonic sensor. My plan was to make it possible to turn the lamp on and off by simply moving my hand under it. This design is compatible with E27 sockets, featuring a 40 mm diameter hole. To print the shade, use Cura's settings: set the bottom thickness to 2 mm, enable "Spiralize the outer contour," and disable "Solid infill top" in the Expert menu. Print the lamp shade with a shell thickness matching your nozzle size. In my case, I printed it with a 1 mm thickness, which resulted in visible stripes. However, I found these stripes to be decorative and decided to leave them as is. The finished product measures approximately 14x14x14 cm and was printed using a LulzBot Mini.
