Lamp Shade Unfolds with Dodecahedral Symmetry, Inspired by STEAM by George Hart. The remaining 15 'spiders' and 20 'connectors' were then printed separately, awaiting assembly. To bring this intricate design together, superglue proved to be the perfect bonding agent. How I Designed This Most of the design process unfolded in Onshape (link to design), where creativity knew no bounds. A dash of remixing magic was added using Meshmixer, elevating the ring's functionality and aesthetics.
