Lamp Receptacle Base 117mm - 90mm
thingiverse
I designed a table top base for a standard lamp receptacle, and I needed it to fit snugly around my 117mm diameter model, with screw holes that match its 90mm diameter. The design prints quickly - under 2 hours with a 1.2mm nozzle - and turns out light and strong, even if it's not the most visually appealing piece. To get the best results, I recommend using at least three perimeters and 20% infill for the base, then switching to 50 or 60% infill just below the first top layers so that circular section forms correctly. Since the bottom layers aren't essential, I skipped them to save time and filament, but if you do choose to include them, make sure to add a few mm of space between each layer and restart from near the top of the wire management channel - this way, it'll close perfectly on the first try. It's not often that this happens, but when it does, the result is quite nice.
