This is a 3D model designed for the Cultural Heritage Remix Challenge. The original 3D model was uploaded by Thomas Flynn, a highly respected member of the community. The original model, titled "Lamp Post Detail, British Museum," effectively conveys its purpose. My remix takes inspiration from the original source to create something extraordinary. As I began sketching initial concepts, a door, pillar, and crystal emerged, prompting me to bring them to life in Blender. By reworking the original textures with vibrant colors and leveraging Cycles for innovative illumination, I recreated the model's essence. I utilized the original pillar as a foundation and incorporated another element to form the top section, while designing the main post, metal vines, and Art Nouveau door from scratch. This remix was a delightful experience.
