Lamp-Poly2

This is a distinct version of Lamp-Poly1, with the only modification being the filleting of corners to give the pentagon a more natural shape. The print took approximately 17 hours and 15 minutes, utilizing a layer height of 0.200 mm. For this particular print, dark blue PLA filament was used. Two photos display the lamp in daylight with the light turned off and in a dimly lit closet with the light on. I believe that a lighter-colored filament would be a better choice; refer to Lamp-Poly1 for an example. This table lamp is designed to work in conjunction with a battery-operated LED light source, specifically a "puck" light. The lamp sits atop a standard 68mm/2.75" diameter LED puck light that operates on 3 AAA batteries. I acquired three of these lights from Lowes for $9.98, including the batteries.
